Red-bellied Woodpecker (Juvenile)

Warrenton, Virginia

We have two juvenile Red-bellied Woodpeckers visiting our feeders every day. They are quite timid and don't stay very long.
They have very the similiar gray plumage of the Red-headed Woodpecker juveniles and are also similar in size.
The next image is of the same bird, but closer in showing some of the red starting to show on her head.
Best viewed in 'original' size.
