Hi Luke,

Thanks for your perceptive feedback. In addition to the contrasting graphic elements, I am also trying to convey the contrasting elements of the CONTENT such that all parts of the picture create a coherent whole. This is of course a diffuclt object to achieve in street work because you do not have time to compose or ask people to pose. The only tool you have is your eyes and willigness to wait to get the right moment. This is both the challange and thrill of Street Work.

I appreciate your comments and time you take to see what is happening in an Imahe.

Datta, I am impressed that the gentleman is standing in the shadow of the coloum and that he is animatedly engaged in something here. Interesting counterpoint to the purposefully disengaged walkers. Luke

Here in the U K sun and shadows are a bonus and hence it is difficult not to see them!

I am just fascinated by - almost obsessed by the beuaty of shadows.

It's something I don't look for as often as I should. Time for a change, and to start looking for them.
