Though the majority of the flowerbeds have been torn out in the gardens that I so often go photograph, there are a few
remaining flowers that are blooming! I'll grab a few more flower shots before the snows hit! ;-)

And here I thought it was going to be a fall leaf from the thumb. Beautiful autumn color, though.

Robin prob gave up and fell asleep :)
Snow is a 4 letter word that shoulnd't be spoken aloud until the end of March when it's just a memory. Esp when it was about 70d today!
The last flowers of the season are as bright and welcome as the first crocus.
I'm shutting up.
Bryan Murahashi02-Nov-2005 04:13
Very nice shot of these last remaining flowers.
Gary Winters02-Nov-2005 03:56
Every flower is precious, no matter how late in the season. This one's a beauty!

I hope the snows hold off for a bit so we can have more of these. Beautiful, Mindy.
I really love the simplicity.

How beautiful, Mindy. I clicked on this image wondering whether it was the beginning of your PAD and taken in spring. Great capture. Thanks for your kind comments on my previous PAD photos. Being now a fellow Pennsylvanian myself, I'll be watching your PAD closely, I'm sure.

Fantastic color and bokeh.
Guest 02-Nov-2005 01:24
I like how the little purple fowers seem to poke their way into the shot. When you get some of that snow send it my way.. I miss the snow, don't see much of it in SoCal.
Breland02-Nov-2005 01:16

Great shot.
Robin Reid01-Nov-2005 22:55
The touch of blue against the red (orange?) flower and green background done with fine sharpness makes this excellent, and I'm sure it must help soften the heartbreak you suffered at the hands of the Steelers last night.
Ian Clowes01-Nov-2005 22:42
