The Venetian, Las Vegas

Got home in the wee hours this morning from Las Vegas! I'll slowly get caught up with my PAD, and with viewing all of your PAD images too!
I'll eventually have a Vegas gallery, and a Ghost Town gallery added to my Pbase site here. ...Had a great time!!
Looking forward to seeing all of the images that I've missed here in the last week!

Love the lines in this. From the columns receeding into the background from the left foreground to the rich wood beams parallel not to mention the shafts of light and the lovely lanterns! Beautiful shot!

Awesome view. Could easily be in Europe. Great find, getting all the classic repro architecture with none of the commercialism

Great light, patterns, shadows, etc. I really like the diagonal pattern in the floor against the horizontal shadows from railing

Welcome back Mindy, I was there in April and had too many people around for such a shot. Don't know how'd you did it, but great job!

This is really a technicially difficult shot to make, to take a photo within shadow and properly expose it and still see detail in the areas of direct sunlight, bravo. Plus the vertical and horizontal lines, I am just pulled into this photo, I am there.

The shadows and light stand out for me here and the resulting contrasts make this a most attractive image. Excellent!
