Have been eyeing this old barn for some time. Finally took the time to stop and take a look!

Great angle. I love your composition, with flowers in the foreground too.

I am glad you did. It is a great shot.

I really like both. So beautiful image and great angle.

I like this one a great deal. If the sky had been strikingly blue I might have preferred the color version but since there is so much white in the sky, the sepia version seems to mimic the mood of the photo more. They are both very nice in their own right however.

Ooooh. I love the sepia tone. Both are nice, but the QAL really shines and the barn gets added character in the sepia. Beautiful composition Mindy!

Great perspective ... the barn looks HUGE! :)

The natural colors and the composition are great!

I'll take the color one too Mindy! The barn looks familiar, but then they all do : )

lovely building... I like this shape so much, and the viewpoint shows it off well. This one I prefer the colour version

I love the perspective with that rocky column in the foreground. It makes the barn look about 200 feet tall. Really appealing.

cool old building!

Great angle ... great old barn!

Wow, both are great. What an interesting structure built on the hill with the little office building down below. Creative and clever barn builder.

Lovely shots. Both of them Mindy. My preference is the color version.

Nice composition. I like the B&W better.

Nice comp with the rocks in the foreground.

Nice shot with beautiful composition. I love the contrast color of the first one. ^_^

Very nice perspective. I like the coloured version the most.

Love old barns..like both treatments
Dan Chusid26-Jul-2005 03:21
I'm torn between the two.
Maybe leaning towards sepia...
Glendower26-Jul-2005 03:10
Not your ordinary barn shot of what is, after all, a pretty ordinary barn... upward perspective emphasizing height, rocks and pretty flowers in the foreground adding a contrasting accent and leading the viewer into the view. Really nice compositional work!

Normally I would like the sepia or b/w but the color really grabs me in the top one. Maybe it's the stone carrying on the same earth tones from the ground, and aged barnwood. Sure am glad you stopped.

Both shots are incredible, the more sepia colored shot gives the shot a historic feel.
Jeffery Stahlman26-Jul-2005 02:41
nicely done on both versions
