Country Road II

OK, I'm obviously 'cheating'! I don't get out in the country all that often these days!
Had another shot of that wonderful winding road I thought I'd post for today!

And one more shot taken out in the country in my Pad Extras Gallery.

Love it. Great composition and colors!

Your composition is wonderful, it really is perfect. The clarity and detail are great. I can put myself in this scene, riding by bike down this country road on a carefree Saturday. There is a little village around the corner with a steepled church and village diner.

I don't think there is such a thing as cheating in PaD.

It was worth it to show them. Very beautiful scene.

Beautiful indeed Mindy. Now this one is more of a road image to complement your fence image in the previous post. It really depends on which side of the fence you're on, right? ;^) OK, so it's about the lighting and angle as well. Your images make a handsome pair.

Love it Mindy!! Both "road" shots are text book super.

I can't look at this without hearing the John Denver song. A lot of work went into maintaining that place on the left. That's a work of art too.

Excellent play on color and shapes! Very creative!

Nice perspective and composition. I like the fence following the road into the distance.

Superb Mindy. The yellow flowers on the other side of the frame from the street lines really pulls the image togeher, and then leads you thru the curve. Really excellent comp.

That touch of color adds to the beauty....

Wonderfully inviting road. I like all the different colors.

Wonderful image! Like the curve of the fence!
Guest 15-Jul-2005 00:08

That is a lovely scene. The flowers are perfect.

You can repeat this scene as much as you like. It"s gorgeous and I have enjoyed viewing both . The marigolds and rock wall in this one add a little country charm. Very nice.

A postcard couldn't be prettier.

What a lovely scene.... you're excused for "cheating". :)
Lovely PAD gallery... I'll be back.
Lee Rudd14-Jul-2005 20:20
you are forgiven! another lovely view
J. Scott Coile14-Jul-2005 19:40
Both views are nice, but I lean toward this one. That pop of color from the Marigolds just does something for me!
Guest 14-Jul-2005 17:53
Wow, a beautiful view! Excellent!

great shot!!
Coleen Perilloux Landry14-Jul-2005 16:03
Very well done. The fence carries the eye all around the curve and beyond as does the ditch and the yellow line in the road. Nice sharp image.
Guest 14-Jul-2005 15:21
Beautiful areas deserving repeating! Lines in this shot are great...fence, ditch, edge of road, yellow lines, and edge of road again...best regards -- Bishop
Glendower14-Jul-2005 15:04
Beautiful. The ditch really helps to emphasize the curved lines in this composition. And the flowers add a highlight of colour that balances/complements the double yellow lines on the road.
