What a stunning image of this beauty. I really like shrikes, they are remarkable birds, passerines but raptor like! Aren't red-backed shrikes declining in numbers in Europe? I saw them long ago in various parts of Europe, but even then they were not commong. Anyway, this is a most compelling photo. Big Vote
