Early morning March 10, 2006; University of Michigan Bell Tower in Ann Arbor
Angle not the greatest. Light not the greatest. Nice bird, though.

The next 3 were taken April 6, around 6 pm. Nap time apparently.

Images 9 - 19 were taken April 29, and include (a) a snack; (b) talon inspection; and (c) a montage of flight images.

Heather Slayton sent me the e-mail with the web-site. You got - really - great photos! The peregrine is - unbanded" (could see entire leg on the last pix). I know just how difficult it is "snapping" these guys. It's even more fun trying to determine bands (if banded - if so - reading the numbers/letters). They usually "tuck" a leg up under their feathers, turn with their back to you, or - just "up-&- leave"! :-)
If you would like - I could send you my (free) CD of the cool pix of the S'e MI peregrines I took when I monitored them (1987-2004).
There is one - "photo-of-my-career" that I got of "luv" ("Ameritech Antics" + a folder of the storms & lightning that moved through downtown Detroit sites) & other cool stuff.
Since moving up to Hillman - I still do my Power Point Programmes for our local organizations and am "Consultant" for the MIDNR and the Raptor Center (MN)
(+ OH, IN,WI, DNR & Toronto ON).
