Milos, weather color or monochrome, you do beautiful work. I myself, prefer monochrome! The deep contrast between the black and white are so appealing and in themselves are so vibrant!!.

Lovely gallery Milos - I love the pano format!! For me, I prefer colour mostly, but there are some times I like to convert to Black and white/sepia: for graphic photographs, to invoke the past, to salvage good photos that have been ruined by colour casts (that can't be repaired even in RAW) and portraits. Good debate you've started!! BV

A very clever idea for a gallery it’s definitely thought provoking and it’s always a good think to raise questions... Personally I have been having a negative feeling for black and white for a while, I think it’s just a temporary phase, but right now I’m totally in favour of colours. I think black and white can be evocative in portraitures, but lately I have seen it also as a kind of escape from imperfection, as if people suddenly might consider a picture more “artistic” just because it’s in black and white, so what would look imperfect in colours, suddenly become better in black and white. I think it’s much harder to harmonize a photo in colours; it needs more attention, while turning it into black and white it’s relatively easy. When black and white is a consequence of an old fashioned film because there was not any digital photography, it’s different. I love the black and white photos of great masters who took them with a black and white film. But things are different now, in a way I find black and white photography, when it’s just a digital manipulation, as a bit too simple and artificial. But, I repeat, it’s just a phase of mine and my humble opinion counts less than nothing ;^)) My congratulations for the idea, this is really a way to show your creativity and your sincere interest for photography as artistic expression.

Hi Milos, it is different to say when I prefer b/w because we naturale see in color, sometimes when I would like to express an emotion I prefer b/w, it is a good question and often I choose on the spur of the moment, great idea for a gallery, I like it, vote, Rosemarie :o)

Well, for me its colour, but not too many different colours in one photograph! Although, it depends a lot on the subject matter of course, and for some shots it just has to be black and white (for instance, I've never seen a full colour photo of Auschwitz).

I am still fighting but monochrome is more artistic for me. The color is just reality. Now depends on how much of each you want in your pictures. Keep on making us enjoy your work Milos. Kind Regards.
