Hi Fatima,
photographic portraiture is not very sensitive to camera brand. It does, however something to do with the sensor size. DSLR's have in general advantage of providing shallow depth of field if mated with appropriate lens. Cameras with 1.5 or 1.6 crop factor like most amateur and semi-pro Canons or Nikons when fitted with 50 to 85 mm prime lenses will suit most of your portraiture needs. If you check this gallery you'll notice I use anything from 30mm to 150mm to get some good results.

hi. i want to buy a slr cammera .what do u suggest?nikon or canon ?and which model?
would u introduce a good lens for photo portrait?
