Snow at the Tenaya Lodge

We were surprised by an unexpected but beautiful snowfall the night (and most of the next day) of our arrival at the Tenaya Lodge in Fish Camp - near Yosemite.
It was maybe 10" and it was so beautiful.

Lots of very pretty scenes! We had 60 degrees here yesterday and are now under a winter storm watch for tomorrow. 26 for a high on Saturday. My brother and his wife from North Carolina are staying with us this weekend, so I imagine they aren't going to appreciate the cold.

It's hard....I really loved White Center and Dark Clouds, but Golden Sunset and Tall Covered Firs are right up there. Gorgeous.

Loved the gallery, Laura..really hard to pick a fave. Every time, I would go to a new image, that would be the one.

Not easy to pick a single fave from this beautiful gallery, Laura! Great job on capturing scenes of fresh snow. My top choices: Red and Green, Pond Reflections, Snowed Rose, Outlined Branches...
