Quebec City in B&W

Different pictures I took in Quebec City in b&w, with a new acquisition I just got, a Nikon F601 with a Nikkor 50 1:1.8. I used a red filter R25 for the contrasts. It is the first time I am using Nikon. I have to know correctly the camera and the lens.

they are too strong for me, I think PanF shuld have more midtone than shadow and highlight. but art work are personal isn't it.
