A friend and I visited a farm where Elk are raised for their antlers. Apparently, there is a market for Elk Antlers and quite a bit of competition to raise the best. We were told that these were close to as good as they get. The antlers had just completed a growth phase and were warm to the touch and soft with a furry feeling.
