Taken in January of 2004, these were the first few artistic images I took after getting my D100.
The setup was a rice cooking pot filled with water. Some blue colored paper was placed at the bottom of the pot to give that deep blue color evident in the images. It's hard to depend only on fast shutter speeds to freeze water drops especially since the setup was in my makeshift studio (indoors). So while the shutter was held open, the water drops were frozen by an off-camera SB-26 flash unit. |
