August 10 2004

Backyard view of the Hyatt in Scottsdale, AZ.
(Soon to be added to my new "postcard series"
gallery)

Temp in Scottsdale today...107!

P.S. I had a non pbase member to go
through my galleries recently and
commented that my captures look like shit!
What are your thoughts???

I do admit that some days...I may
"throw" something on the daily pad
to fulfill my obligation...but hey
I think all of us are guilty in that
department!

Canon EOS 10D ,Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM

From the thumbnail I thought this was Arizona and yep, here it is...
Brings back memories ;) Ahhh I've been there, been there.

Great shot and as far as your "captions" go,
looks fine to me.

I am so envious, oh my this is beautiful country. I am planning a trip in October through Phoenix because I HAVE to re-visit the botanical gardens there, they are the best I have ever been to.

Thanks Ann!

I like your photos. Don't pay attention to the person who said that. There are always people who try to drag others into their negativism. Beautiful saguaro, by the way!

Don't let the rude comments get to you. Just have fun and keep shooting!
I think the center composition works great in this photo too, and I like
how the trees on both sides are framing the cactus. Nicely done.

Thanks for posting.

I was going to, but liked the uncropped version better. I guess it's a matter of personal taste!

Some photos deserve a centered subject. This is one of them. I would however, crop out the foreground shadow.
