On the whale-watching boat

The whale-watching was somewhat less than the spiritual
experience I'd been thinking I should expect. For some reason
the captain favored turning the port side toward the whales
(we were on the starboard side). So it was hard to get a good
shot of them -- and I'm not including any of them here. The sales-
pitch for money at the end (donations to the whale-foundation, tips
for the deckhands) got to be a bit much. But, we had great weather,
the drinking-water was free, and I fell down on deck only once. :-)
