The original shot — much reduced

Canon 20D, ISO 100. Hand-held w/Canon's 300/4.0 IS lens. Converted from raw
to TIFF at 240 ppi. (The "native" size of the image is about 9" x 12".)

Strongly recommended: view the comparison shots at "Original" size ("Original" link,
bottom of any image). Otherwise, changes PBase makes in creating reduced-size
images will completely obscure the differences among the conversions.

The rest of the images are crops from "actual pixels" (100%) view. The first examples don't
have any sharpening. The next group show results of using the various converters' default
sharpening settings (or what I would assume to be their defaults). Only sharpening has been
adjusted -- no other raw-conversion settings have been changed in any of the images.

The cat really did have a copyright notice on its forehead. No, seriously. :-)
