Riddarholmskyrkan (church of the knights)

This is the church with the tall black iron spire that appears in a couple of the other pictures.
It is perhaps Stockholm's most famous church — a place where folks who belonged to knightly
orders and royal families and that sort of thing are buried. Some of the crypts — those with
coffins of people without any living descendants — are open. The coffins are out in plain sight.
(The coffins are not open. Their occupants are not out in plain sight.)

A bit spaced out, I didn't see the "no photography" sign — I wasn't supposed to have
taken this picture. They were nice about it. I was sorry I had to stop. There are some
amazing things in the church — like a huge marble sarcophagus.

Hand-held at a pretty high ISO. I'm surprised the shot is usable at all. Lucky break.
