This ID is tricky. I say its a young female Northern Cardinal. Jerry says its a Pyrrhuloxia. My case for the Cardinal is the orange beak and a more straight beak vs yellow and a hooked beak for the Pyrrhuloxia. Also the Cardinal has a black patch around the beak and the other does not. There's just a hint of black around the beak in my bird. Alan-your opinion?
