I spent a weekend out at Sand Springs in preparation for finding Desert Bighorn Sheep out there this summer. Wanted to see if there was any water at the guzzler, and there was. I was sitting in the chair reading when I saw movement from this Fence Lizard out of the corner of my eye. I saw it catch a grasshopper. As soon as I stood up to get the camera, it took off like a rocket. Turns out it had dropped the grasshopper and came back in just a few minutes. This time I was ready with the camera and chased it around until I got some nice shots.
