I have wanted to do "Snow trails" for a couple of years, but we haven't had the snow to do it. Almost didn't get to try it again this year. Finally had a decent storm, so I went way up the Mt Rose Highway at night. The idea is to use a long exposure and light up the falling snow with a spotlight. These aren't as good as what I saw on YouTube, but a good start. The snow was light and the wind was blowing hard, so I didn't get the nice peacefull looking scene I was hoping for. Oh well, maybe we'll get some decent snow next year.
