I came back up on 11/13/10 hoping to get better light than the previous weekend. After 2.5 hours of driving, arrived to a gray dreary scene, but set up the camera anyway. Some nice light finally appeared to the west. I was taking some panoramas of that when I looked across the playa at this scene just before sunset. Rushed over to get set up and got two sets of panos. The good light lasted around 3.5 minutes. 5+ hours of total driving and a cold night in the camper for 3.5 minutes of good light. Was it worth it? You bet!
