The rest of this gallery is from 5/23/10 and as you can see, there was snow and frost. This is a Barn Swallow and my personal favorite image of this gallery. By the way, all of this group were taken from the "car blind". Just roll down the window, put a large beanbag on and shoot away. Amazing to me how close birds will let you get if you stay in the car. Most of the time, they're gone instantly if you even think about opening the door.
