Tufa at South Beach of Mono Lake. This is a composite of two images. The first with just stars to get a feel for the exposure needed. I took a number of shots of the tufa to get star trails, but the clouds interfered with that, so decided to just blend in the clean sky with one of the lighted tufa. I used a 10 million candlepower spotlight to provide the light on the tufa. The brightness on the horizon is the glow from Bridgeport.
