hello mike, i do really admire this drop shot you made. I have also panasonic fz20 and tried to copy what you did.. but haha! i was frustrated that I couldn't copy it.. i went back to your site again and see the settings you made. I noticed that you also used another lens nikon 5t. i would like to ask, is it possible to add fz20 with another lens? how do you attach it? I have also seen your macro shots of flowerss and they're ll amazing, the crispnss is far way from the macro shots im doing.. :o) hope you can give me some advise to achieve this kind of shots coz they're great! Mike, thanks for your nice comment in my gallery. I love these drops! I haven't tried drops yet but I'd like to, and these set a high bar and some great inspiration. The selective color is great here with the flowers, especially because your b&w tones are so strong. Great job.

Thanks for the compliments. The only thing done on the PC was crop and resize and add a little USM. Of course, the ones with the black background were converted on the PC and the drop was re-colored. The reflection of the magazine is purely optical. I placed the magazine upside down under the faucet and behind the drop. The drop acts like a lens and inverts the image in it's reflection.

really like this, different way to do drops as most people do the splashes. How much of this was done on the PC? with the magazine in the drop etc?...

Very good idea ! I would be curious to see the first one with the b&w backgroud in the original version ! But i like this gallery and i think there is still more exploration to do with that concept !
