Tossing Alyssa part deux

Decided to recreate an old favorite of mine... a shot of me tossing my youngest daughter up in the air. So, I mounted the D300 onto a tripod, set the 17-55/2.8 lens to 17mm and set the focus to about 7 feet. Manual exposure minus one stop to underexpose the sky. SB-900 flash to minus 2.7 stops to give just enough light to open the shadows in her face. Set the camera on timer, and then try to time my tosses to catch the shot right at the apex of her flight. That was the hard part...

Well, I tossed her at least 20 times. I think I nailed this one around 12 or 13. Thanks for the compliment. ;-)
