On the way home tonight, from Harrisburg, I could not resist the view from the car.
I pulled off the road, grabbed my camera, steadied myself, and hand held quickly took
the shot. The scene was actually lighter than what you see here. the combination of
speeding up the shutter speed, stopping down to f10, and using the 30d spot exposure
on the brightest spot i could find, Darkened the scene somewhat... it was an effort
to both control exposure and to captue the crazy color of the sky. The colors you
see here are actually close to the actual scene.
