Photographing this massive structure was a real challenge and some natural lens distortion
must be expected as the front towers extend 232 feet into the air, 28 feet higher than Notre
Dame in Paris and 7 feet higher than Westminister Abbey in London. In addition, there are
lots of annoying cars in the streets and electrical and telephone wires surrounding the
structure making an obstructed view almost impossible to capture. The answer is sneaking
close to the structure, under the wires with a very wide angle lens. In this case, I relied on
my trusty Canon 20mm f2.8 usm. Of course, good dramatic cloudy skies helps to get a good shot.
