This year we were certain, we want to go to Europe. Discussing possible destinations, we surprisingly made quite an unorthodox for people from this side of the pond choice - Prague. We've known that old town of Prague is one of the most beautiful European cities. "Zlata Praha" - Golden Prague, we've heard this name many times in our childhood. Closed in the past it now become one of the major European tourist destination. So the choice was made. We're going to Prague.
      The ride from airport to hotel was almost devastating. Instead of "Golden City" we were driving through dull gray plain city blocks. I had a terrible feeling that the holiday might be ruined. When we finally went out late afternoon and took a first turn to old city center, I finally felt relieved - the great prize was just steps ahead of us. The beautiful old city bathing in golden light of setting sun. Located on west/east banks of Vltava river, Prague is bound to be a photographer's paradise as sunrise/sunset light bring best of it's architecture on both banks. A poet once described it as a “symphony in stone”, perfectly expressing city's character and beauty. I felt this title would be very appropriate for my first out of series of galleries devoted to this magnificent city.
