Navy ships are at the San Francisco piers for the weekend along with the air shows performed by the Blue Angels. We toured one of the battle ships, the USS Boxer. It's an amphibious ship in support of the USMC in time of war. It has the ability to land at beaches in order to transport personnel and heavy equipment and gears to/from sea and land.
