He he, the hills around where I live (Adelaide) don't get cold enough to produce pure icy conditions, but frosty conditions where the atmosphere condenses enough to result in ice crystals forming, not ice. Therefore, icy would be inappropriate signage.
However, there are areas in Aus that do experience proper sub zero temperatures, but not like in the US as we are far too south, where it's nice and warm....most of the time :-)
We still call slippery roads 'black ice' as a few of my friends have discovered....
