September 2006 - Australia - Sydney

We spent three days in Sydney. Sydney is a very cosmopolitan city. The city reminds me of a Los Angeles, Seattle and Vancouver mix. Sydney is the most populous city in Australia with a metropolitan area population of 4.2 million people. Sydney is the state capitol of New South Wales and is located on the country's south-east coast. We spent our time here doing a Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb, ferry ride to Manly Beach, and took a tour of the Blue Mountains. September is the springtime for Australia. Temperatures were above average for this time of the year hovering in the mid 80's during the day and falling to the 50's at night. Remember you can click on a photo for a larger image.
