Aphrodisias and Hierapolis (Pamukkale region)

Aphrodisias (named after the goddess Aphrodite) is an ancient city that also had its heyday in the Greco-Roman eras, although the city existed before, probably under another name.

Hierapolis, another Greco-Roman city is built on a hill next to hot springs. The hot springs were used for their healing purposes, and well, the same reason we like hot springs.
