We stopped in Acadia National Park in Maine, but just for a single night of camping and a quick drive through a portion. Visited friends and family in Pennsylvania, picked up Bix, and then spent a few days in Minnesota and Wisconsin visiting family and friends. On our way out of Minnesota on October 11, it was 95 degrees! The next day the weather broke but not before winds of 40-60 mph to deal with in North Dakota. In western North Dakota, we took a quick gander at Theodore Roosevelt NP and saw a prairie dog village come alive when a coyote cut through.
