We knew a few people that had visited Cappadocia and all said "Take a hot-air balloon ride! It's by far the best thing to do there!" Not exactly what two people scared of heights wanted to hear.

Bravely we scheduled the trip and then prayed for rain. No such luck... and we are both very grateful! It was wonderful, neither of us were freaked out (the basket sides are about 4 feet high and they are very sturdy), and it was a great way to see the area.
