like the previous comment I have noticed you have taken time to use the time of day/shadows in many of your shots. many of the pics would be bland taken at noon. many beginners dont realize that using automatic settings tends to cause loss of shading.

Gordon, I quite like your use of shadow to add some contrast to this one. The dominant point at the to right is still dominant, but with the shadow , it is differentiated even more from the other peak. The red hill diagonally at the front left balances the shaded peak well, as does the sharper peak and the lighted lower areas at the front right. The blue sky is a perfect backdrop and the tiny clouds are nicely understated to add another point of interest without taking over. All up this one feels good.
