Last year I discovered a flock of over 20 of these unique ducks living in Salado Creek in northeast San Antonio. They are not common here as they usually hang out around the Gulf of Mexico and down the coasts of Mexico. One would stand guard while the others were swimming. I also learned that they lay the eggs in large nurseries. Love how you captured the bright colors. Voted.

I like the repeating pattern, and the colour. Excellent depth of field.

Very nice. The reflexion in the water is interesting also. Where on earth can we find such original birds?
