Pakistan



The original photos were all of Northern Pakistan but I've begun to move down the Karakoram Highway so I think I'll include in the gallery all the areas of the country I visited.

It is nice to see so much pictures from Pakistan, eight years before I went there. If you want to have a look at my trip :http://www.pbase.com/frenchkriss/pakistan93_ang. It is always the same problem with rocks on KKH. We even got a little earthquake in Chitral !

Iam proud to be a Pakistani,i really have no words to express my feelings about the beauty and the nature gifted by God to our country.I've experienced it by my self when we went for Pakistan tour last week.I can only say EAST OR WEST PAKISTAN IS THE BEST.

What a great and beautiful country! but it is sad that environment, nature and pollution is last thing on Pakistani's minds. In coming years, the shortage of water and clean air would take away the little of Pakistan beauty's that the country is left with if they would not take it seriously. Perhaps the results might be apparent already. Landslides are the side effect of deforestation which can be seen in these pictures too.

Beautiful Pictures that remind me of my many trips to Pakistan. I find that Pakistan has been poorly understood by the world but the irony is that it has made the country one of the most exotic countries in the world to travel to and one where typical tourist culture(as one sees in Egypt, South America, India) has not destroyed the local culture and experience in this majestic and breathtaking land making it a truly unique and remarkable country to visit indeed. Plus, I must add that I have never met such hospital and friendly people in world as I have met in Pakistan. Looking at your pics has urged my team to plan a third trip now back to Pakistan in particular the Northern Areas with a side trip to Southern Panjab/Sind. Thank you once again

very nice gallery, after having been in Pakistan it gives me some memories although I was in Peshawar mainly and working on a far uglier reportage (Afghan refugees). Although the karakorum highway also can be quite tragic... any way, very nice gallery. I invite you too see mine of the Afghan. :)

Thanks for the memories. We lived in Warsak 1958-60 while my Dad worked on the dam site. We just loved that area of the world and the proud people who lived there.
