The white glow rising from the Bolte Bridge towers are the arc lights to highlight the structure.
This bridge is named after a previous State Premier, Sir Henry Bolte.
(I met the man in the 1960's and felt that he was the most obnoxious individual I had ever met.)
Seeing this bridge always reminds me of that unfortunate meeting.
