We, the Nohmul crew realized how simple our accommodations were when we visited David Pendergast's team at Lamanai. This pristine setting was among the orange grove hills that are pictured here. This image was made soon after sunrise and breakfast had come and gone....After a spartan breakfast of water and toast and the odd tree-plucked orange!....

We were back on the road and leaving the luxury of free-flowing booze and screened-in rooms for our own northern destination of Camp Nohmul.
