Norman Hammond (Professor at Rutgers at the time)pointed this Mayan arched doorway out to us as we left the site of Chichen Itza. Neither protected or marked.

According to Dr. hammond, as of 1985 the doorway had never been discussed in publication.

It is very similar to a the famous Labna Vault at Labna, Mexico.
