I lost my best judgment and climbed to the top for some panoramic views.
I struggled to inch my feet and hands against opposing walls until I reached the top
of the structure where ancient Maya astronomers came for sightlines of the equinoxes,
the summer solstice and the cardinal directions

BTW: I was ceremoniously escorted out of the
area and kindly asked not to do it again.
Apparently the park attendant was just as
embarrased about the episode as I was!
