We got caught on the new cuota (toll) road, driving from Cancun to Chichen Itza and couldn't exit
until the end; we payed an $11 toll in 1999, the price has doubled since then.

It's a good thing we had our Altoid tin along, as our hunger and boredom challenged our servival!
