I've had my Taylor 422R {rosewood} strung with Elixir strings and can't help picking it up for a song or two every time I walk near it. By far the best strings that I've ever tried, not to mention the most I've ever spent to get a set! $18 USD as I recall, but they continue to sound new and responsive. Most strings become dull after a few weeks, but not these Elixirs have a "space-age polymer tube that contacts the string on the tops of the windings only" The best deal that I have seen was at Strings & Beyond ; sold out as of this posting..... http://www.stringsandbeyond.com/elnaacgust2w.html
