Two Ertl John Deere combines have been secured to a Walthers machinery flat using wire wrapped over the axles behind the tires. The wire passes through holes drilled in the deck and is secured underneath. The etched chain tie-downs are from Alkem Scale Models and are cosmetic only, they don't actually secure the combines to the flatcar.
The flatcar was weathered with artists oils and Tamiya Panel Line Accent Color. The cars in this group have an operating Sergent coupler at each end of the group of five cars and dummy couplers in between.
