Red-necked Phalarope

This bird was 1st found by Terry Witt on 10/2/05, and was still present on 10/4/05 when Ken Oeser, myself, and later Don Manning, all enjoyed the bird. Distant Phalaropes that have acquited basic plumage are tough, at least if you're not very experienced with them. My previous experience with Red-necks had largely been at sea, with a flock or two speeding by.
