We had a number of Kirtland's singing around us, at least 6 in the area. Some were very conspicuous, but others were much harder to get a look at.

We would have had great looks from the road, which is how you have to bird if not a Forest Service tour, but we had much better looks by getting out into the habitat with the guide.
