Wilson's Phalarope

Ensley area; Shelby Co, TN

This basic Wilson's Phalarope was the last shorebird species that Jeff and I came across on Saturday. We were scanning across one of the pits and both said 'Phalaope' at the same instant. The male Wilson's I had near Reelfoot earlier in the week was a little more colorful than this bird. This bird was fairly distant, and is heavily cropped.
