Nine Mile Pond wasn't as productive, but there were several White-crowned Pigeons in the are. These are badly backlit, but even without a good look at the white-crown, the long tail identifies these birds.
I had seen a few White-crowns in the Keys, and was afraid I'd lost my only shot at a photograph. I would later see them, unexpectedly, in the subdivisions of Kendall as I was looking for Spot-breasted Oriole.
