My 1st Snail Kites were along the Tamiami Trail. I had at least 4 birds in the area around the Miccosukee Indian Restaurant. These birds gave great scope views, but were all distant. This male perched in the grass for awhile, but his head was all that was visible. I was actually pleased with this shot, but hoped for better of this FL specialty.
